This weekend I will be at the Good Eye Gallery, Merry Makers Christmas sale.
I have been elfing away (that is in fact a term), making one of a kind christmas cards, embellishing art prints and finishing up my latest project - laser cut jewelry!
Also on offer - some accessories for your tree, in the form of driftwood feathers, hand painted glass and wood baubles and ceramic bells!

This year I have added some driftwood pieces to my Christmas inventory. They add that natural touch to a tree that might be sporting a bit much glitter (not that there are limits on sparkle, especially not at christmas).
These will be on sale at the Merry Makers event on December 3rd and 4th, at the Good Eye Gallery in Eagle Rock!
Very excited to take part in a pop up show at the Kate Spade store in Pasadena.
My work got cosy with some gorgeous handbags. The colors and patterns complimented each other nicely.
The turnout was great, and some organized Christmas shoppers went home with original art and greeting cards.

Yoga has always been a part of my life. My Mum taught me sun salutations very early on, and I loved having a special practice with her. It felt very grown up to take part in an activity which required quiet focus.
It remains an important grounding part of my life. Along with meditation and the technique of visualization, I began to dream about putting my favorite shapes down on a yoga mat.
Thanks to Live Sankalpa, I have been able to make these a reality!

This was an exciting project for a newly built home in Austin, Texas.
The owners gave me free reign on the design, so I incorporated a few of their favorite things - paisleys and lots of colour. I worked with Studio Sketchup to plan each panel, and plot the design for laser cutting. Then came the painting! I gave each shape a glow of gold, which lifts some of the darker colours, and gives a nice sense of dimension.
